Life is random.
You control efforts, not results.
So you might just as well imagine that all your life's outcomes are determined by the throw of a bunch of dice.
A small number of people — let us call them the Omega group — threw the dices and, at some point, got all sixes.
Others look at them, thinking they must be doing something right. They'd like to replicate their results. They're the Theta group.
Omegas start looking at themselves, and agree: They must be doing something right, and start giving talks on their morning routine, hand technique, personal philosophy... you get the point.
Thetas pay to attend their seminars, buy their books, learn the secret recipes no one wants you to know but are available for the low low price of most of your income.
Thetas grow afraid of throwing the dices. They're not ready, there's still some literature and theory on dice-throwing somewhere they haven't read.
They keep trying to reverse engineer the magic formula.
They forget to throw the dice.
Chances of getting sixes — or any other decent results — decay faster and faster as days fly by, until they drop to zero.
Throw the dices, and don't let results get to your head.
Recipes, frameworks and everything along the lines of "proven results" are bullshit.
Good advice is free, and comes without guarantees.
