## TL;DR I build decision-making tools, turning complex 'hairy' processes into simple software solutions. Both as a CTPO and founder, I have a track record of (1) leading end-to-end product delivery, (2) consolidating legacy systems, and (3) creating the architecture and tooling necessary to win tenders, scale infrastructure, secure funding, and become profitable. In production, I worked on web apps for operations and maintenance using event-driven architecture, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Svelte, Next.js, Electron, AWS, MongoDB, Rust and C++. I'm currently looking for my next mission and team. I am open to roles that leverage my background, particularly those involving high ownership, leading a team, finance and / or applied mathematics. ## Experiences ### Bob! Desk - June 2021 / Feb. 2026 - **Consulting Technical Advisor - 7 months** - Led the development of an automation feature, paving the way for the implementation of AI agents - Created a roadmap to [[2026-02-06 - Untying the Gordian Knot of User Notifications|refactor legacy parts of the notifications module]] using AWS abstractions, which was the occasion to take the team's knowledge of AWS further - Future-proofed the company and ensured neither the team nor the product would be handicapped by my leaving, working closely with each department to map my knowledge of the product (business logic, technical and organizational perspectives) and pass it on. - **Chief Technical & Product Officer - 3 years 3 months** - Supported the company's growth from €0.1 to €1M ARR - Managed a yearly budget of €400K - Built the technical team and grew it from 0 to 6 people - Structured the product function - Led the fast-paced development of proof of concepts to support the sales team during sales cycles and actively participated in the negotiation process during 9 tenders - My cross-functional role led me to participate in hiring the sales team - Built the roadmap planning and development processes, distributing roles and responsibilities within the company - Switched our workflow from Jira to Linear, which offered the simplicity a company our size needed. - Trained company leadership and other stakeholders to use all the tools involved in the planning & development processes. - Defined organizational resilience and security processes. I ensured the organization wasn't over-reliant on a single link (me included) by structuring knowledge sharing and documentation crafting within the tech and product teams, as well as password and secrets sharing policies within the company. - Led a complex notifications project involving (1) the reconciliation of cross-enterprise settings with user notifications preferences and our own hidden business logic layer, and (2) the automated translation of all notifications into the user's preferred language (some clients operated internationally). - Led the refactoring of legacy MongoDB anti-patterns that represented a significant cost on the organization by decorrelating simple reads from complex writes - Led the migration of all the application's infrastructure from Azure to AWS with zero downtime during the migration, and a registered total downtime of ~4 hours over 3 years. The transition was in part because some AWS features were a better fit for our business. - **Product Engineer - 1 year 1 month** - Developed [frmx](https://github.com/flowsn4ke/frmx) in my free time, a TypeScript open source form package (~1M npm downloads) to accommodate the migration of chunks of legacy code into a refactored version. It runs smoothly in production up to this day (TypeScript). - Led the development and refactoring of several features, among which (1) a fully-fledged [[2026-02-20 - Designing a Document Management System from Scraps|document management system]] with access-control to accommodate the business logic, a document viewer (AWS) and (2) a calendar with drag and drop to replan, resizing to change event duration, event overlapping to display many overlapping events (React, TypeScript). ### myTranslators - Aug. 2015 / May 2021 - **Front-End Developer - 2 years 8 months** - The projects my clients entrusted me led me to work directly within codebases to lead the internationalization of apps and website (i18n), both from a technical and from a translation perspective. - **Founder - 3 years 2 months** - Managed technical translations projects. I specialized in legal translations (mining contracts, mostly North Africa), where my background in international business law also put me in a position to actively participate in the scaffolding and amendment of contracts and tenders. ### Armée de Terre - Sept. 2014 / June 2015 - **Officier Sous Contrat Encadrement (OSCE), Infanterie - 9 months** - Military training focused on leadership, critical thinking, strategy & management ### Ministère de la Justice - June 2012 / Aug. 2012 - **Intern - Juridical matters branch - 3 months** - Analysis and structuring of detainee litigation files, in order to simplify the search for precedents and improve the Ministry's response times. ## Education ### University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne (Sept. 2009 – June 2014) Bachelor's degree, **International Business, Trade, and Tax Law** ### Académie militaire de Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan (Sep 2014 – Jun 2015) **Military officer training** focused on leadership, critical thinking, strategy & management. ### Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry S.G.
