Every six months or so, 1. Drain filter using baking tray 2. Clean filter 3. Clean the inside (vinegar based or similar) 4. Clean the inside of the joint at the door with toothbrush 5. Remove and clean detergent tray + the hole it fits in 6. Clean outside 7. Place about a cup of baking soda in the washing machine 8. Run it on the hottest setting 9. Let it dry open
